The 3.8-liter six-cylinder boxer engine of the Speedster makes 408 hp. They are just as much horsepower as in the new 911 Carrera GTS, which is also presented in Paris, and 23 hp more than the 911 Carrera S. The power transmission to the rear axle with limited slip differential as standard assumes the seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox PDK. It is developed around the Carrera S in 3.6 L H6 engine, but in a version that took 23 horses. So the GTS has an output of 408 horsepower (385 hp and 420 Nm on the Carrera s) and always sufficient torque of 420 Nm which allows it to reach 302 km / h and 0 to shoot 100 km / h in only 4.2 seconds or 0.5 seconds faster than a Carrera S.
